As of 7/1/13 the State of New Mexico will no longer offer Voluntary Benefits on payroll deduction to their employees, however employees can keep the same plans at the same rates by paying Allstate Benefits (AB) directly. This change currently affects employees of the State of New Mexico, the City of Las Cruces, the Town of Taos and the County of Santa Fe. Most Local Public Body employees will continue to have their premium payroll deducted. Q. Can I still enroll in any of the plans or change my existing plan/s? State of New Mexico and County of Santa Fe employees can no longer make changes. City of Las Cruces employees can take advantage of the special group rates by enrolling in any of the plans or making changes through 5/24/13. Town of Taos employees can enroll or make changes through 6/30/13 as the Town of Taos will maintain payroll deduction after 7/1/13 but will stop offering Allstate Benefits new or change enrollments as of 7/1/13. Q. How do I enroll or change my plan/s? Contact us via email at service@goforbenefits.com or call us at 866-572-2895 and we will take care of you. Q: How do I keep my plan/s? As of 5/15/13 Allstate Benefits will being to mail out direct payment instructions to State of NM and Santa Fe County employees. It is very important that we have your current address so if your address has changed please email service@goforbenefits.com with your First Name, Last Name and the last 4 digits of your SSN as well as your Current Mailing Address. State of NM Employees can switch to direct bill immediately by clicking here on the Allstate Benefits Direct Billing Instructions & Form link. You can access your policy numbers and information by logging into My Benefits; if you haven't done this before scroll down and complete the REGISTRATION process during which you will create your login and password. |
